As a nonprofit organization, Auroveda Operating Foundation is a charitable trust. We are focused on empowering women and children in the underprivileged communities of India. Volunteers at Auroveda dedicate themselves to creating free healthcare opportunities while delivering free vocational training to unemployed youth, allowing them to carve their own paths. They also provide rehabilitation to refugees and foster community well-being among all.
What We Do
We are devoted towards paving the way for a brighter and richer future for those who are less fortunate. Food, shelter and education are basic human needs that no one should have to do without. However, the reality is that there are many out there who are living in destitute conditions.
Auroveda strives to provide education and to feed the hungry. We also aspire to make quality healthcare accessible to all by providing an environment of holistic wellbeing for the underprivileged and refugees in developing countries such as India.
India has been suffering with social, economic and psychological issues for far too long now, and this is the narrative we are dedicated to change. It is not just about providing resources, but it is about developing hope and assisting people in whichever way possible to turn it into a reality.
Our volunteers devote most of their time building community and educational centers that provide vocational training. This is to educate the youth of their rights and the future they can build for themselves. With this center, we aim to promote leadership and empowerment amongst the youngsters, especially women and children. The goal is to create a safe haven and a community of motivating people, pushing them to reach their full potential.
Feed The Needy
Food and water are two of the most important and basic human necessities. Yet, there are thousands of families in India that struggle to access it. In an attempt to change this, Auroveda partnered with the IIP Foundation to feed the underprivileged. With an overwhelming philanthropic response, the ‘Feed The Needy’ campaign effort was turned into a success story as we were able to provide groceries supplies lasting 45 days to over 5,000 families across the country. We were able to reach the needy families of West Bengal, Rajasthan and Adarsh Nagar Delhi. This has been one of the many steps undertaken to help the needy in every way possible. Our volunteers are always ready on their feet to set out and make a difference to the underprivileged.
Established to bring about positive change in the lives of the underprivileged, Auroveda continues to touch the lives of those who need it the most. We often underestimate the power we hold to change the discourse of those less fortunate than ourselves and restore their dignity. If we set our mind to it, we can empower them to truly transform their current situation and build a brighter future.
