Bengal Social Empowerment Program
Our passion for helping those in need is what drives us to constantly find ways in which we can help improve their lives. At Auroveda, we are a nonprofit organization committed to providing healthcare, means of rehabilitation, and empowerment to the underprivileged. In order to make access to food and water easier for these needy families, we have tied hands with the IIP Foundation which has helped us make some incredible strides in this endeavor.
In our most recent project – the Bengal Social Empowerment Program – we were able to raise funds to support families and contribute to Bengal’s social upliftment work. With the incredible support of our volunteers and IIP, we completed the 6th phase of distribution in the month of September 2022. This included donating 33 sewing machines, 7 wheelchairs, 6 tricycles, and 3 cycle vans. With this, we were able to provide support to people with physical disabilities as well.
We are incredibly grateful that we get to do this and support those who need our help the most. Even if our contribution provides a little relief to them, we know we are on the right path to bring about change.
