Fundraiser for Marine Corps League

After a successful fundraiser hosted by Auroveda and Access Health Care Physicians, LLC, so many US veterans of the Marine Corps League- Spring Hill Detachment #708 benefited from generous donations that contributed to building renovation and assistance programs for veterans and their families.
Auroveda, along with Access Health Care Physicians, LLC., hosted a fundraiser at Silverthorn Country Club to raise money for the Marine Corps League- Spring Hill Detachment #708–an organization that benefits US Marine veterans and other US veterans.
The night was full of dancing, fun, and many opportunities to raise money for this great cause, including raffles and a silent auction. Together, we were proud to raise $34,044 for the Marine Corps League – Spring Hill Detachment #708! This money went toward several necessary repairs to their building and much more!
Guest speakers included Major General James “Hammer” Hartsell. Who was presented with a recognition plaque to express appreciation for his many years of service. One of Access Health Care Physicians’ very own, Dr. Jaime Torres, also gave a touching speech about his experience as a veteran.
The Marine Corps League preserves the traditions of the US Marine Corps while bonding active military members and veterans together in fellowship to promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy.
This cause is special to the hearts of so many due to its mission to hold sacred the history and memory of those who have given their lives to our great country.
The Marine Corps League encourages veterans to locate fellow service members, showcase military accomplishments, and socially network.
Through generous donations, the Marine Corps League has been able to also help military veterans and families who are in need. With financial assistance, scholarship grants for undergraduate degrees, and various resources for support, Auroveda continues to find new ways to assist and honor US veterans and their families.
